My Mission
Thank you for browsing my website. I am passionate about children’s emotional well-being and helping a connection to you. I’ve been working in mental health for nearly thirty years starting in adult services and then for the last 18 years working in Specialist CAMHS working with complex presentations and in private practice. You don’t have to work in the mental health sector to know that some families and some children are suffering. We have some of the worst outcomes for self-harm and children’s emotional well-being in Europe.
Recent studies have shown that:
- 1-10 children aged between 5-16 suffer from a diagnosable mental health disorder.
- Between 1 and 12 and 1 in every 15 children and young people deliberately self-harm
- More than half all adults with mental health problems were diagnosed in childhood but received no intervention.
- Nearly 80,000 children and young people suffer from severe depression.

My Hope:
Research shows that a solid, secure parent-child connection can improve mental health outcomes for children. I want you to have the tools so that this happens so I placed many free downloads that I hope will be of some help to you.
It’s such a lovely feeling to be fully present, enjoy and connect with your child.When you attune to your child’s emotional needs using an authoritative parenting style and positive discipline, there is long term change so your child can reach their full potential.
